The passion he has for instilling leadership in student-athletes cannot be understated. As our athletic department expands its scope, I am looking forward to watching him mentor coaches as they develop their own programs ," Wilburn said.
Michael Pilawski, Vice Principal for Campus Life, likewise is grateful for Maguire's commitment. , "Saint Francis High School cannot thank Coach Maguire enough for all his dedication to our baseball program over all the years. He has worked tirelessly to promote a program of hard work, humility and excellence. He is an incredible role model and always had our teams model the highest standards of sportsmanship. A huge thank you goes out to him and his family!" said Pilawski.
Baseball will not be far from Maguire's thoughts. He remains a fan of Lancer baseball and will support the next coaching staff in any way he can. "I have been grateful every day for the opportunity to represent Saint Francis on the baseball field and follow in the footsteps of the coaches who built this program.
