Andrew Wun Named NHSSCA Regional Coach of The Year

The National High School Strength Coaches Association (NHSSCA) is proud to announce
that Coach Wun at Saint Francis High School has been named 2024 Pacific Region
(California, Nevada, and Hawaii) Coach of the Year.
This award is given annually to a High School Strength and Conditioning Coach in
recognition of their coaching achievements and passion for the profession. Coach Wun
was selected from among the top coaches across the region and will receive a plaque
and recognition at the NHSSCA National Conference in Texas on June 20, 2024. A list of

Coach Wun has been leading the Strength and Conditioning Program at Saint Francis
High School for the last 14 years and has been a Strength and Conditioning Coach for
over 20 years. This is Coach Wun's first individual coaching award, but the program at
Saint Francis has been recognized three times as a National Strength and Conditioning
Association (NSCA) Strength of America Award recipient. Coach Wun states, "It is
humbling and a great honor to be recognized as one of the best strength and
conditioning coaches in the area. I am very proud to be a part of a school and program
that helps raise the standards of strength and conditioning at the high school level."
