(Mountain View, CA) – Saint Francis High School is proud to announce that Matt Maguire '98 has been promoted to director of athletics. In this new role, Matt will provide leadership for the school's athletic program, ensuring sports remain a vital component of student development. He is committed to fostering excellence, integrity and inclusivity in all aspects of the athletic experience by creating opportunities for student-athletes to feel supported, challenged and inspired to reach their full potential.
As a dedicated member of the Saint Francis community for over 20 years, Matt has served in various leadership roles during his tenure, including interim athletic director, associate athletic director, head coach and classroom teacher. His leadership will continue to shape the Lancer athletics program into a dynamic space with a vision that aligns with the school's Holy Cross values.
"I am honored and humbled to continue serving Saint Francis in this new role," said Matt. "The values I learned through Saint Francis athletics have shaped my life from the moment I first stepped foot on campus as a student to now as an educator. I look forward to working with our exceptional coaches to empower student-athletes as leaders and strengthen community engagement with Athletics for the next generation of Lancer athletes.
