Saint Francis High School is pleased to announce that Paul Lapke has been appointed the new head girls track coach. A former head track coach at Notre Dame San Jose. Lapke currently serves as an assistant cross country coach and Biology teacher here at Saint Francis. Lapke takes over for Tony Kunkel who stepped down at the end of last season.
"Saint Francis is excited and proud to announce Coach Lapke as the next girls head track coach here at Saint Francis High School,” said Director of Athletics Michael Pilawski. “Coach Lapke has been a great addition to our school and athletic community and we are excited for the season ahead."
“Saint Francis has a proud athletic tradition with wonderful student-athletes. I am grateful for this opportunity and hope to help continue the history of success of the track program.” said Lapke.
“Saint Francis High School would like to thank Coach Kunkel for his service to the girls track program this past year and wish him the best of luck”, said Pilawski.
