This past Saturday at the K Bell track Invitational on the campus of Los Gatos HS, freshman, Izzy Cairns set a personal best in the 800 meters leading from wire to wire.  Her time of 2:14.39 is a new school record replace the old record by Emily Skahill of 2:15.05.  Her time currently ranks her 3rd in the state and 11th in the US.  She also anchored the teams mile relay with a split of 57.5 to help them to a 2nd place finish.
