Lancer Girls Track Wins First CCS Title Since 1996

Congratulations to the girls varsity track team and their 1st place team finish at the CCS track meet Friday in Gilroy. The championship marks the first at the school since 1996. Individual results are as follows:

Girls 200 meter dash - 6th place Angela Cuter with a time of 25.31

Girls 1600 meter run - 3rd place Emily Skahill with a time of 4:57.39 and 7th place Gia Kim with a time of 5:11.80

Girls 3200 meter run - 3rd place Emily Skahill with a time of 10:44.97

Girls 100 meter hurdles - 3rd place Melissa Seaman with a time of 14.93

Girls 300 meter hurdles - 3rd place Melissa Seaman with a time of 45.55

Girls 4 x 100 meter relay - 2nd place with a time of 48.43 (Cutler, Garlick, Adams, Pace)

Girls 4 x 400 meter relay - 5th place with a time of 4:03.36 (Cutler, Garlick, Seaman, Kim)

Girls long jump - 7th place Annika Opsasnick with a mark of 17-04.50

Girls triple jump - 2nd place Annika Opsasnick with a mark of 37-11.50, 3rd place Camille Esterlechner with a mark of 37-07.00 and 4th place Melissa Seaman with a mark of 36-10.25

Saint Francis won the championships with a team score of 62.

Also, congratulations to seniors Darius Thomas (high jump) and Xander Olivero (3200) who will also compete in the State Meet.
